Andrew\u00a0Tate\u00a0and his brother Tristan have been arrested in the US in reference to a UK police investigation into numerous alleged sexual offences, Bedfordshire Police said.<\/p>\n

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said it was bringing further charges against the brothers, who were arrested by US Marshals in Miami on Saturday, in relation to allegations from 4 additional victims.<\/p>\n

The CPS said it has requested the extradition of the brothers from the US.<\/p>\n

Social media influencer\u00a0Andrew\u00a0Tate, 39, is charged with seven further counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and 19 additional charges for offences referring to indecent images of a baby and extreme pornography.<\/p>\n

Tristan\u00a0Tate, 38, is charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.<\/p>\n

The CPS said the 38 additional charges, along with 21 existing charges, relate to alleged offences between July 2010 and August 2017.<\/p>\n

Malcolm McHaffie, head of the special crime division on the Crown Prosecution Service, said: \u2018Now we have decided to prosecute\u00a0Andrew\u00a0and Tristan\u00a0Tate\u00a0for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences referring to indecent images of a baby.<\/p>\n

\u2018These charging decisions followed receipt of an additional file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police and convey the overall variety of alleged victims on this case to seven. The Crown Prosecution Service reminds everyone that criminal proceedings are lively, and that these defendants have the fitting to a good trial.<\/p>\n

\u2018It is incredibly necessary that there be no reporting, commentary or sharing of data online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings. The CPS has requested the extradition of the\u00a0Tates from the US. They’ve been arrested and await extradition proceedings to the UK.\u2019<\/p>\n

Bedfordshire Police said the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit are continuing to research numerous other offences reported to each them and Hertfordshire Constabulary.<\/p>\n

Bedfordshire Police Assistant Chief Constable Karena Thomas said: \u2018There isn’t any place for male violence against women and girls, and we’ll proceed to work tirelessly to support victims and investigate all reports made to us.\u2019<\/p>\n

Joseph McBride, a lawyer for the brothers, described the brand new charges as \u2018filth and slander\u2019 designed to counter defamation charges filed by the\u00a0Tates within the US.<\/p>\n

\u2018We’re confident that after a reliable judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority,\u00a0Andrew\u00a0and Tristan\u00a0Tate\u00a0will walk free. America doesn’t do Britain\u2019s political dirty work,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

The brothers are facing legal proceedings in Romania, where they currently live, and were facing extradition to the UK upon their completion after Bedfordshire Police secured European arrest warrants for the pair in 2024.<\/p>\n

The pair have previously \u2018unequivocally\u2019 denied wrongdoing, with\u00a0Andrew\u00a0Tate\u00a0describing himself and his brother as \u2018very innocent men\u2019.<\/p>\n

In June, their bid to bring a legal challenge against the CPS after it didn’t disclose the names of their alleged victims in UK criminal proceedings was thrown out by a High Court judge.<\/p>\n
