Greg Hardy returned to Peak Fighting Championship to defend his heavyweight belt on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old squared off against former UFC middleweight Joseph Holmes within the Peak Fighting 53 essential event.<\/p>\n

Holmes entered the bout following an extended layoff, which dates back to a UFC knockout loss to Claudio Ribeiro in May 2023.<\/p>\n

Hardy proved to be too tough a comeback fight for \u2018Ugly Man\u2019, who fell to a third-round TKO defeat. <\/p>\n

The reigning champion took advantage of a sloppy takedown try to secure top position and hammer away with punches until the referee stepped in.<\/p>\n
