Colby Covington remained undefeated on the Real American Freestyle mats.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The previous interim UFC welterweight champion called time on his MMA profession to deal with a return to his wrestling roots.<\/p>\n

Prior to Saturday, \u2018Chaos\u2019 had already beaten Luke Rockhold, Dillon Danis, and Chris Weidman under the RAF banner. On the promotion\u2019s eleventh event, Covington defeated Arman Tsarukyan to finish the UFC star\u2019s unbeaten run.<\/p>\n

The result was a shock given Covington\u2019s underdog status, but Nickal still sees the Californian as being \u201clevels\u201d below him.<\/p>\n

Bo Nickal calls out Colby Covington in response to his RAF 11 title win over Arman Tsarukyan<\/h2>\n

After beating Tsarukyan to win the newly created crossover championship, it didn’t take long for \u2018Chaos\u2019 to have his first defense announced.<\/p>\n

Having brawled on the post-match press conference, Covington will wrestle Belal Muhammad within the co-main event of RAF 12 in Cleveland on August 22.<\/p>\n

But \u2018Remember the Name\u2019 isn’t the one person trying to get their hands on the polarizing 38-year-old.<\/p>\n

Following loads of back-and-forth this 12 months, Nickal gave Covington some credit for his performance against Tsarukyan but insisted that he would still dominate the ex-UFC star in RAF.<\/p>\n

\u201cColby actually looked pretty good vs Arman but there\u2019s levels,\u201d Nickal wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf y\u2019all need to see an absolute massacre give me that @RAFWrestlingUSA cross over belt match up next. Easy work,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Nickal has not fought in RAF for the reason that organization\u2019s launch event 11 months ago, where he defeated Jacob Cardenas.<\/p>\n

He has had two scheduled matches against former UFC and Bellator star Yoel Romero canceled.<\/p>\n

Nickal will return for the promotion\u2019s one-year anniversary, sharing the cardboard with Covington. The UFC middleweight prospect is ready to wrestle Max McEnelly on the undercard of Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs\u2019 debut.<\/p>\n
