Kendra Duggar<\/strong>\u2019s parents are set to be deposed as their son-in-law Joseph Duggar<\/span><\/strong>\u2019s legal case continues.<\/p>\n

In line with court documents exclusively obtained by Us <\/i>on Monday, July 20, Christina Caldwell<\/strong> and Paul Caldwell<\/strong> will travel to the office of the Florida state attorney and supply a deposition to Joseph\u2019s attorney that may be used \u201cat trial, and\/or for such other purposes as are allowed by law.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/i> has reached out to Joseph\u2019s attorney for comment.<\/p>\n

Joseph, 31, was arrested in March<\/span> after being accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl during a family vacation in 2020. He was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a baby under 12 and lewd and lascivious conduct by an individual 18 or older. He has since entered a written not guilty plea<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Kendra, who was also arrested on unrelated, separate charges before being released on bond, doesn\u2019t look like distancing herself from Joseph and his family amid his ongoing legal troubles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s fear or naivete, but Kendra has totally sided with the Duggars and never her family,\u201d a source exclusively shared<\/span> with Us<\/i> in April. \u201cShe is brainwashed.\u201d<\/p>\n

One other source claimed in May that Kendra was not communicating together with her family and that the Caldwells \u201chave left the house they were living in and all of their belongings are in storage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a particularly stressful time especially given the circumstances,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

A separate source, nevertheless, told Us<\/i> that the Duggars have been \u201cexcellent to the Caldwells\u201d over time and while what Joseph is accused of \u201cis horrid and ought to be properly adjudicated,\u201d it doesn\u2019t make the Caldwells \u201cvictims.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the identity of Joseph\u2019s alleged victim has yet to be revealed, a source told Us<\/i> that the accuser is near Kendra\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

\u201cChristina and Paul Caldwell will not be hiding the incontrovertible fact that Joseph\u2019s victim is [close to the Caldwell family],\u201d the insider shared with Us<\/i><\/span> in April. \u201cChristina has told other members of their church, but she will not be sure she desires to speak about it so publicly. That’s what she is battling, but she will not be hiding it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some fans may recall Christian influencer Amy Paul<\/strong> previously accused the Duggars of retaliating against Kendra\u2019s family within the wake of Joseph\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

Paul alleged that the Caldwells reported Joseph to police over child molestation allegations in March.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to be also appalled at the dearth of Christian charity that’s being shown to this precious family [the Caldwells] that’s in crisis,\u201d Paul wrote via Instagram<\/span> in April. \u201cNot only were they put within the awful situation of turning their son-in-law into the police because he wasn\u2019t man enough to take accountability himself, but he\u2019s also kicking them out of their house and giving them 30 days to get out!\u201d<\/p>\n

Neither Joseph nor Kendra, 27, have publicly commented on their legal battles. Nevertheless, each of their families have spoken out.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJoseph Duggar\u2019s lawyers asked a Florida court for permission to query the investigators who spoke to the now-14-year-old alleged victim in his child molestation case. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly show that Duggar, 31, asked the court on Friday, May 1, to \u201cissue a subpoena to compel disclosure of knowledge obtained through the investigation [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A spokesperson for Joseph\u2019s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, told Us<\/i> in March that they’re \u201cheartbroken\u201d over their son\u2019s arrest<\/span>.<\/p>\n
