Colby Covington desires to welcome Kamaru Usman over to the RAF Wrestling mats.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This past Saturday, Kamaru Usman returned to motion for the primary time in over a yr when he took on Dricus Du Plessis within the UFC Oklahoma City fundamental event.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for \u2018The Nigerian Nightmare\u2019, he suffered his fourth loss in five fights as Du Plessis picked up the unanimous decision win.<\/p>\n

And while there are calls for the 39-year-old to retire from MMA, the previous welterweight champion has been offered a lifeline in a special sport.<\/p>\n

Colby Covington calls for trilogy with Usman<\/h2>\n

Also competing on Saturday was Usman\u2019s former foe, Colby Covington, who became the inaugural crossover champion in Real American Freestyle Wrestling after beating Arman Tsarukyan.<\/p>\n

Following the fight, Covington ended up clashing with Belal Muhammad on the post-event press conference, causing a giant brawl on stage.<\/p>\n

Not long after, the promotion announced that the pair would clash on the RAF mats at RAF 12.<\/p>\n

Despite that, this Monday morning, Covington revealed that he has called off his match with Muhammad, calling him a \u2018filthy animal\u2019 and criticizing him for his part of their post-event brawl.<\/p>\n

With that, \u2018Chaos\u2019 has called for a trilogy match with the aforementioned Usman, calling him a \u2018fake person\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a fake person and he got his a\u2013 beat,\u201d Covington told The Ariel Helwani Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe now have unfinished business. If he desires to take a shot at this Cruiserweight Crossover World Championship at RAF, come get it. You\u2019re not going to be faking calls during those six minutes on the RAF mat. I\u2019m going to interrupt you on that mat since you\u2019re a D2 scrub, and I\u2019m a D1 All-American.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Covington\u2019s calls for a wrestling match with Usman, \u2018The Nigerian Nightmare\u2019 has no plans to call an end to his MMA profession.<\/p>\n

The truth is, the 39-year-old has stated that he’ll proceed fighting at either 170lbs or 185lbs, depending on which weight class he gets offered the higher fights.<\/p>\n

And he seemingly has backing from his UFC boss, Dana White, who shut down calls for him to retire saying \u2018he\u2019s still got it\u2019. <\/p>\n
