The Hall of Famer expects Tszyu to threaten early before Spence\u2019s pressure and conditioning change the fight after Round 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Roy Jones Jr. expects Tim Tszyu to provide Errol Spence difficult early rounds before the previous unified champion begins taking control. Jones says Spence\u2019s pressure and conditioning have consistently separated him from elite opponents once fights reach the second half.<\/p>\n

Jones Jr. said Tszyu\u2019s best opportunity is available in the opening rounds before Spence settles into his rhythm.<\/p>\n

\u201cMan, it\u2019s a tough call, but I\u2019m going with Errol. Hope Errol can withstand the early start that Tszyu goes to probably put up early because should you get past 4 or five rounds, Errol definitely goes to beat him because Errol, to me, is stronger later than anybody fighting. You get him past round six, and also you got an issue in your hand. I don\u2019t care who it’s, especially if he ain\u2019t beat up or nothing within the face. You get to round six, you bought an issue because that\u2019s when he starts to come back alive. Ask Ugas. Ask Brook,\u201d Jones Jr. said to Fight Hub TV.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Roy Jr. compared Spence\u2019s relentless style to Marvin Hagler\u2019s, arguing that constant pressure eventually wears opponents down. He also identified that Spence has more technical ability than many individuals remember from his amateur days, despite the fact that he has relied totally on pressure as an expert.<\/p>\n

The matchup stays a difficult one because Tszyu is of course aggressive and has never been afraid to trade punches. That style may create entertaining early rounds, but it surely also plays into the form of fight Spence has often thrived in if he can avoid taking an excessive amount of punishment initially.<\/p>\n

Jones Jr. believes surviving the opening rounds is the important thing. If Errol reaches the center rounds without absorbing significant damage, he expects the previous unified welterweight champion to start taking control with regular pressure and superior stamina.<\/p>\n

A victory over Tszyu would put Spence back within the title picture at 154 kilos after a three-year absence from the ring. A loss would depart him facing one other setback at a degree in his profession when every fight carries added significance.<\/p>\n
