The primary-ever SM Energetic Hub Pickleball Trio Challenge marked a milestone in SM Supermalls\u2019 efforts to grow the game, bringing together teams from the DUPR 9 and DUPR 11 categories to the Grand Finals after advancing from the qualifying rounds held at SM Bicutan, SM Sta. Mesa, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Marikina, and SM Center Muntinlupa.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

SM Energetic Hub\u00a0recently concluded its\u00a0<\/span>first-ever\u00a0<\/span>Pickleball Trio Challenge\u00a0with an adrenaline-fueled\u00a0<\/span>Grand Finals\u00a0held on\u00a0<\/span>July 12,\u00a02026\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span>SM Pickleball, 4 E-Com Center MOA Complex in Pasay City\u00a0bringing together the tournament\u2019s top qualifying teams.\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n

Featuring a novel three-player team format, the tournament fostered strategic team play and elevates the extent of competition. Teams competed within the DUPR 9 and DUPR 11 divisions, with categories determined by the combined Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) of the three players of every team.\u00a0 Throughout the tournament, players reveal exceptional skills, teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship in every match.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Grand Finals marked the culmination of 5 qualifying legs held across SM Bicutan, SM Sta. Mesa, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Marikina, and SM Center Muntinlupa<\/span>.\u00a0<\/b>A complete of 89 teams competed within the qualifying rounds, with the highest 32 teams advancing to the Grand Finals.<\/span><\/p>\n

SM Energetic Hub\u2019s first-ever Pickleball Trio Challenge brought together players in a celebration of friendly competition, camaraderie, and the growing pickleball community.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Team Boss K,\u00a0composed of\u00a0Keane, Sunshine and Prince claimed the championship title within the DUPR 9 category, while\u00a0<\/span>Team Zone, composed of Glorie, Zacky and Renzo, emerged as DUPR 11 champions. The winning teams advanced to the Grand Finals from the SM City Sta. Mesa and SM City Marikina qualifying events, respectively. Each teams earned the excellence of becoming the primary champions of the SM Energetic Hub Pickleball Trio Challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event also featured two Grand Parades of Finalists, one for every category, symbolizing the growing pickleball community within the country with SM Energetic Hub on the forefront of the game\u2019s development.<\/span><\/p>\n
