Bron Breakker has cleared up the rumors surrounding the injury that sidelined him for several months earlier this 12 months.<\/p>\n

The previous WWE Intercontinental Champion was written off television through the 2026 Men\u2019s Royal Rumble match after entering at No. 2 and being eliminated by Oba Femi in only 10 seconds. The shocking exit got here after a mysterious hooded attacker \u2014 later revealed to be Seth Rollins \u2014 laid him out before the match could truly begin.<\/p>\n

The next night on Monday Night RAW, Breakker unleashed his frustration by tearing apart the ringside area, even flipping over the commentary desk. Afterward, reports circulated that he suffered a hernia while overturning the announce table, forcing him to miss motion until his return at WrestleMania 42.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, during episode 4 of season three of Netflix\u2019s WWE: Unreal<\/em>, Breakker revealed that the injury had nothing to do with the physical destruction at ringside. He said,<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to be presupposed to destroy the set, get as mad as I possibly could. It had nothing to do with physicality or anything like that. It happened after I was screaming. My entire midsection locked up.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI went to the back; we still had another shot to do. I used to be within the locker room, and I used to be kinda\u2019 like hunched over, holding my stomach, [thinking] \u2018What the hell just happened?\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThen I went to arise to do the second shot, and I couldn\u2019t arise. My stomach was \u2014 I couldn\u2019t come out of this [position]. Ultimately I went into medical, said \u2018Hey, I believe something\u2019s happening, I believe it\u2019s a hernia.\u2019 The doc took one have a look at it and [said], \u2018Yeah, we want to go to the hospital without delay. You would like surgery.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Breakker ultimately underwent surgery and remained out of motion until making his return at WrestleMania 42.<\/p>\n
