A Montana man was arrested after he was accused of torturing his girlfriend at her parents\u2019 house for several days before she was capable of escape.<\/p>\n

Jake Thomas Canestrini<\/strong> was charged with one count each of kidnapping, strangulation of a household member, interference with a peace officer and cruelty to animals and three counts each of aggravated assault and battery and domestic battery.<\/p>\n

The incident began on May 30 when Canestrini, 24, held his girlfriend of around three years hostage and he continued to torture her for five days.<\/p>\n

On May 30, the lady\u2019s parents went out of town and left the couple alone at their house in Rock Springs. Soon after the victim\u2019s parents left, Canestrini allegedly threw his girlfriend to the bottom several times and prevented her from leaving the house, in response to an affidavit obtained by Cowboy State Every day<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cCanestrini held her on the bottom for several hours and continued to hit her on the top,\u201d the affidavit stated.<\/p>\n

The victim tried to run away several times, but Canestrini would allegedly stop her by yanking \u201cher by the hair to maintain her down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Canestrini allegedly called his girlfriend\u2019s place of employment on June 2 and told them she wouldn’t be going to work that day.<\/p>\n

The violence reportedly continued to grow worse as the times continued, and Canestrini made a series of menacing threats.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ll f***ing murder you,\u201d Canestrini allegedly told the victim as he held a knife to her throat, per the affidavit. \u201cI’ll murder your cat. I’ll murder your f***ing family if you happen to get the cops involved. I’ll wait 20 years so I can kill you.\u201d<\/p>\n

At one point, Canestrini allegedly used a razor blade to chop his girlfriend\u2019s thighs, hips, stomach and arm. The victim also told police that he used a fork to stab her within the back and \u201cbutt cheek.\u201d<\/p>\n

The affidavit stated that Canestrini repeatedly strangled the lady, and he or she told police she feared for her life and couldn\u2019t breathe.<\/p>\n

The girl claimed to law enforcement that at one point, Canestrini said he \u201cdidn’t need to do that but because she was being a b**** to him, she deserved the punishment.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the lady escaped, a health worker\u2019s report revealed that she suffered a concussion. Moreover, investigators noted that she was covered in bruises and had injuries to her face, arms, shoulders, legs and knees.<\/p>\n
