Tim Bradley believes Bill Haney deserves credit for keeping Devin Haney in a robust negotiating position as reports of a direct multi-fight agreement with DAZN proceed. Bradley even gave Bill Haney a brand new nickname, calling him \u201cHood Houdini\u201d for steering his son into what he sees as a good business position.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna call you Hood Houdini,\u201d Bradley said on his channel. \u201cEverybody thought that Haney was trapped within the corner. Hood Houdini. You wiggled your way out, man. You found an exit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tim argued the move gives Haney greater control over sponsorships, gate revenue, site fees and pay-per-view income. He also believes a direct agreement with DAZN leaves Haney free to pursue the largest available fights as a substitute of operating under a single promotional structure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is a possibility for him to bet on himself,\u201d Bradley said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Bradley also compared Haney\u2019s position to Shakur Stevenson\u2019s. He noted Shakur\u2019s reported Zuffa contract carries a considerable purse but believes that difference gives Haney a stronger long-term business position.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got to agree with you guys,\u201d Bradley said after polling his audience. \u201cHaney has more value than Shakur Stevenson.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Bradley credited Bill Haney for helping construct Devin\u2019s profession without remaining tied to at least one promotional company for an prolonged period. He believes that strategy has preserved Haney\u2019s leverage as negotiations proceed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reality all the time involves the sunshine,\u201d Bradley said. \u201cWe\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Bill Haney deserves the praise if the reported agreement reaches the finish line, Bradley believes. His latest nickname reflected that view.<\/p>\n
