The discharge of Jana Nayagan has sparked an emotional celebration amongst Thalapathy Vijay\u2019s fans, turning the film\u2019s launch right into a grand cultural event. Since Wednesday night, fans across various locations have been engaging in activities equivalent to cultural programs, special pujas, abhishekam on posters of Vijay, coconut-breaking rituals, and prayers dedicated to him. Several videos capturing these celebrations have surfaced online, showcasing fans dancing outside theatres to loud music, bursting crackers, and performing rituals to honour their beloved star. Vijay Starrer Jana Nayagan Releases And Fans Pour Milk<\/h2>\n

In Chennai, large hoardings of Vijay have been prominently displayed across the town. Fans gathered in large numbers outside cinemas, dancing and celebrating the film\u2019s release. Videos of actress Keerthy Suresh arriving to look at the film have also been shared, together with reports that actress Trisha is anticipated to attend a screening at Rohini Theatre. Vijay himself watched a special screening of the film on Wednesday, as confirmed by PTI.<\/p>\n

The festivities prolonged beyond Chennai. In Tirunelveli, a DJ setup was arranged outside Muthuram Multiplex where hundreds of fans danced to rejoice. Notably, a bunch of fans from Japan flew to Chennai specifically for the discharge of Vijay\u2019s final film. <\/p>\n

A fan from Mumbai expressed the emotional significance, stating, \u201cIt’s a really emotional moment for lots of us. We never thought it could come to this. I even have been watching Vijay\u2019s movies for the last 15 years. Even when the film shouldn’t be good, we won\u2019t complain. No less than we’ll get to see him on screen one last time.\u201d <\/em>One other fan added, \u201cAs a Mumbaikar and Gen Z, I like Vijay. He inspires me. I’m here to rejoice and revel in this moment.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

About The Film\u2019s Release Controversy<\/h3>\n

Jana Nayagan was released in over 3,500 theatres after a delay of greater than six months. Originally scheduled for Pongal release earlier this yr, the film faced hurdles when the CBFC refused to clear it. After multiple reviews and legal motion by the makers, it finally received certification.<\/p>\n

In a related note, Tamil Nadu minister Arunraj addressed questions on the film\u2019s release amidst ongoing protests by the CJP. He remarked, \u201cDon\u2019t compare protests with a movie release. There are numerous problems that should be addressed. We’re emotional about this film.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
