It\u2019s very different from how anyone else would do it, but that\u2019s what adaptation is,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d is already proving to be a box office success despite the criticism it faced before its release.<\/p>\n The film debuted with greater than $264 million worldwide during its opening weekend, with revenue split almost evenly between domestic theaters and international markets.<\/p>\n Much of the skepticism surrounding the film also appears to have faded, as critics<\/a> are actually praising its performances and production design.<\/p>\n It’s already being considered a possible Oscar contender, including for Best Picture and Best Actor for Matt Damon\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n
