The Big Bang Theory<\/em> fans who watch Stuart Fails to Save the Universe<\/em> will notice some major plot holes.<\/p>\n

During an exclusive interview with Us<\/em>, creators Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn<\/strong> and Bill Prady<\/strong> revealed they purposely introduced story lines that didn\u2019t make any sense throughout the primary season of the spinoff.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were at all times completely on top of it,\u201d Penn joked. \u201cEach morning we might get together and go over this big chart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lorre clarified that they were actually \u201cclueless\u201d in regards to the big picture, adding, \u201cWe were absolutely in a dark room attempting to work out the elephant.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sitcom inspired a franchise when The Big Bang Theory aired from 2007 to 2019. It starred Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch as [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Penn credited Prady for having a \u201chigher sense\u201d of how the story flowed. Prady, for his part, noted that just one aspect of the show was \u2014 nearly \u2014 airtight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI kept track of 1 thing, which was the loop,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd it\u2019s not one hundred pc right but it surely\u2019s close enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

While chatting with Us, Penn argued that they desired to have plot holes, saying, \u201cIn the event that they don\u2019t then we didn\u2019t do our job.\u201d Prady jumped in to indicate that the characters at the middle of the HBO Max show \u201cnotice them along the best way\u201d as well.<\/p>\n

Lorre, meanwhile, argued that shouldn\u2019t be what the audience searches for.<\/p>\n

In line with the official synopsis, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe<\/em> follows Stuart Bloom as he’s faced with the daunting task of \u201crestoring reality after he breaks a tool built by Sheldon and Leonard, by chance bringing a couple of multiverse Armageddon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stuart \u201cis aided on this quest by his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert and quantum physicist\/all-around pain within the ass Barry Kripke. Along the best way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters we\u2019ve come to know and love from The Big Bang Theory. Because the title implies, things don\u2019t go well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stuart (Kevin Sussman<\/strong>) was originally introduced on The Big Bang Theory<\/em>, which aired on CBS from 2007 to 2019. The show starred Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik<\/strong> and Melissa Rauch<\/strong> as a bunch of best friend scientists and their \u2014 sometimes polar opposite \u2014 significant others.<\/p>\n

The Big Bang Theory won 10 Emmy Awards during its 12-season run and spawned the prequel series, Young Sheldon, a.k.a the follow-up focused on Sheldon\u2019s life (Iain Armitage<\/strong>) as a toddler prodigy.<\/p>\n

Viewers then met Sheldon\u2019s brother, Georgie (Montana Jordan<\/strong>), which paved the best way for his love story with Mandy (Emily Osment) to encourage one other spinoff, Georgie & Mandy\u2019s First Marriage. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,<\/em> meanwhile, is led by Sussman, Brian Posehn, John Ross Bowie<\/strong> and Lauren Lapkus.<\/strong><\/p>\n
