Josh Hokit says he\u2019d be willing to defend his UFC title once a month<\/h2>\n

Hokit has been the fastest-rising name within the heavyweight division, having gone from unranked to a top-five contender with three victories this 12 months.<\/p>\n

The polarizing American most recently had his hand raised on the UFC Freedom 250 card on the White House. After beating Curtis Blaydes in April, Hokit knocked out Derrick Lewis to stay undefeated in MMA.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old is pushing for a chance on the heavyweight gold. Should he successfully attain champion status, \u2018The Incredible Hok\u2019 says he won’t rest on his laurels.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d fight next week if it was for the title,\u201d Hokit wrote on X<\/a> after a fan requested an update on his return timeline. \u201cAnd I\u2019d fight every month after that after I win it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI make 3x more cash only for showing as much as a title fight than I do for a daily win.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I would like the title after which I\u2019ll fight every month after that in the event that they want me to,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Hokit continues to cause controversy along with his persona, most notably with the comment he made about former First Lady Michelle Obama during his Octagon interview with Joe Rogan on June 14.<\/p>\n

Dana White has branded the remark \u201cgross,\u201d nevertheless it doesn’t look prone to hamper the ex-American footballer\u2019s plan to win the final word prize at heavyweight.<\/p>\n
