The Blues proceed to have interest in Carolina Hurricanes 24-year-old, RFA defenseman Alexander Nikishin<\/a>, but provided that the value is correct. Toronto Maple Leafs Matthew Knies<\/a> is one other player the Blues have likely checked in on and the value is actually high. He\u2019s not a difference-maker that you just hand over multiple quality assets for.<\/p>\n
