Khamzat Chimaev made a surprise cameo within the cage at UFC Abu Dhabi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The previous middleweight champion was within the corner of Abubakar Vagaev during his UFC debut on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Daniel Cormier was met by Khamzat Chimaev when he entered the Octagon to conduct his post-fight interview with Abubakar Vagaev. <\/p>\n

The UFC Abu Dhabi commentator was shocked to learn Chimaev can be playing the role of translator for his teammate.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you gonna do the translating?\u201d Cormier asked the Russian superstar.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh my goodness, Khamzat is translating,\u201d he added when Chimaev confirmed his unlikely role.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Wolf\u2019 will not be a native English speaker, but he smashed his first day on the job as a translator. <\/p>\n

Khamzat Chimaev wants his title back <\/h2>\n

Khamzat Chimaev lost the UFC middleweight title when he suffered his first profession defeat in May.<\/p>\n

Sean Strickland edged out a shock split decision victory once they fought within the UFC 328 important event.<\/p>\n

Since then, Chimaev has been relentlessly campaigning for a right away rematch for the 185lb belt. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s currently unclear if the UFC will book Strickland vs. Chimaev or go in a distinct direction. <\/p>\n
