Former NFL player Jordan Devey <\/b>has died. He was 38.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday would have been our fifteenth yr anniversary. Now we have filled the partitions of our homes and hearts with countless memories, joys, struggles and triumphs,\u201d Jordan\u2019s wife, Linsey Devey<\/b>, wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Thursday, July 23, announcing her husband\u2019s death. \u201cWe brought 4 beautiful children into this world which have your eyes, freckles and compassion.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cYou were our hero and our hearts ache in your absence. We love you. We miss you. And as you said in your last words to me, \u2018We\u2019ll talk soon\u2019 \u2764\ufe0f<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Linsey also asked social media followers to donate to a newly created GoFundMe campaign to \u201cease the financial burdens that weigh heavy on [their family\u2019s] hearts\u201d following Jordan\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHollywood mourned the deaths of a few of its most legendary stars in 2026. In June, legendary music executive Clive Davis also died at age 94 following a hospitalization for an upper respiratory infection. At the tip of the month, news broke that the Village People lead singer Victor Willis had died. Actor Joby Baker died [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c[Jordan\u2019s] family [is navigating] an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking time,\u201d Linsey\u2019s friend wrote via GoFundMe<\/span><\/a>, claiming that Jordan died by suicide. \u201cAs they face overwhelming emotional and financial challenges, including mounting medical expenses, the community is coming together to support Linsey and their children. The funds raised will help ease the financial burden, allowing them to deal with healing and moving forward without the added stress of immediate expenses.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement added, \u201cIn case you are able, please consider donating to support Linsey and their 4 children during this difficult time. Every donation, prayer and act of kindness is deeply appreciated and can remind them that they’re surrounded by a community that loves them. Thanks to your generosity and for keeping the Devey family in your thoughts and prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jordan played within the NFL for seven teams, including with the Latest England Patriots once they won the 2024 Super Bowl.\u00a0 He ultimately retired in 2021 after a temporary stint with the Buffalo Bills the yr prior.<\/p>\n
