Tyson Fury opted against heading to Jeddah to face off with Anthony Joshua last night \u2013 as an alternative opting to go the other way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the weekend, each Fury and Joshua took on tune-up tests before their planned showdown later this 12 months. On Friday, the \u2018Gypsy King\u2019 defeated Mariusz Wach over seven rounds in a totally bizarre matchup before Joshua took on Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

After a colorless showing from Fury, it was expected that Joshua would knock over his Albanian opponent with relative ease. Prenga managed to shock the world by dropping the Brit twice in the primary, but AJ got his feet underneath him and scored a large second round knockout.<\/p>\n

Tyson Fury heads to Dublin as an alternative of Jeddah during Anthony Joshua fight<\/h2>\n

Immediately after his victory over Kristian Prenga, Anthony Joshua made the decision to face off with Tyson Fury within the ring. He was under the impression that his rival had shown up, but was surprised to learn that he had gone elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Fury did insist after his fight with Wach that he wouldn\u2019t be going to Jeddah, despite a reported insistence from Turki Alalshikh and Saudi officials that they might send a jet for him. Now, he appears to have shown off that he headed home, with a pit stop in Dublin.<\/p>\n

While Fury has not posted on his own page since watching Joshua wade through the Prenga fight, he did repost an Instagram story from his coach Kristian Blacklock. The pair might be seen having fun with a pint of Guinness together at Dublin Airport, with the caption \u201cWe’re in Dublin for a couple of hours\u201d.<\/p>\n

While contracts have been signed for a gathering between Joshua and Fury, there are still various issues including a venue. The Watford native wants it within the UK while his Manchester rival is keen on a Recent York date, while Dana White\u2019s involvement can be up within the air.<\/p>\n
