\n\tPrime Video will globally premiere Season 2 of \u201cThe Traitors,\u201d its Indian adaptation of the hit international reality format in August, with recent episodes streaming every Thursday.<\/p>\n
\n\tKaran Johar returns to host the season, during which 21 celebrities from various fields will compete in a game built around trust, betrayal and deception. The series is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, Dharma Productions\u2019 digital content studio, in collaboration with All3Media International, which oversees the Indian version of the BAFTA and Emmy-winning format created by IDTV. \u201cThe Traitors\u201d has now been adapted in greater than 40 territories worldwide.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThe response to the primary season of \u2018The Traitors\u2019 exceeded all expectations \u2013 it didn\u2019t just entertain; it became a cultural moment,\u201d said Nikhil Madhok, director and head of originals, Prime Video India. \u201c\u2018The Traitors\u2019 has grow to be one among Prime Video India\u2019s most defining reality franchises, transforming the genre with its unique mix of intelligent gameplay, psychological strategy, and riveting entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tMadhok added that the brand new season raises the stakes with sharper gameplay and a brand new line-up of players.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThe Indian adaptation of \u2018The Traitors\u2019 struck a robust chord with viewers in its very first season, and we couldn\u2019t be more delighted to see it return for one more thrilling chapter,\u201d added Sabrina Duguet, executive VP, APAC, All3Media International.<\/p>\n
\n\tDharmatic Entertainment, in a press release, said the primary season \u201cignited a nationwide obsession\u201d and that the brand new run goals to remain true to the show\u2019s \u201craw, unpredictable, and psychologically gripping essence.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tSeason 2 premieres Aug. 13.<\/p>\n
\n\tFormed in 2018, Dharmatic Entertainment has produced greater than 25 titles, including \u201cCall Me Bae\u201d and \u201cLove Storiyaan.\u201d \u201cThe Traitors\u201d is amongst its upcoming slate alongside a world game show format also hosted by Johar.<\/p>\n
\n\tAll3Media International, which distributes programming to greater than 1,000 broadcasters and platforms worldwide, has licensed \u201cThe Traitors\u201d format to greater than 30 territories for local versions, while episodes have aired via tape sales in greater than 50 others. The distributor\u2019s catalogue spans greater than 35,000 hours of content, including scripted series reminiscent of \u201cLiar\u201d and \u201cThe Assassin,\u201d alongside unscripted formats including \u201cRace Across the World\u201d and \u201cMoney Cab.\u201d All3Media recently accomplished a $8 billion merger with Banijay Entertainment.<\/p>\n
\n\tPrime Video\u2019s Indian slate also includes \u201cMirzapur,\u201d \u201cThe Family Man,\u201d \u201cPanchayat,\u201d \u201cPaatal Lok\u201d and \u201cRise & Fall,\u201d amongst other Originals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
