Ever since his UFC Paris important event against Salahdine Parnasse was announced, Dan Hooker has been receiving death threats from fans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018The Hangman\u2019 hasn\u2019t competed for the reason that starting of the 12 months when he was handed a brutal loss by Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 325 in Sydney.<\/p>\n

<\/figure>\n

A number of months after his disappointing second loss in a row, the 36-year-old admitted that he hadn\u2019t been taking fighting seriously and had been drinking throughout his camp.<\/p>\n

And despite calls to retire from the game, Dan Hooker will once more compete in an enormous fight at lightweight when he welcomes Salahdine Parnasse to the UFC.<\/p>\n

Hooker has received death threats after UFC Paris fight announced<\/h2>\n

Earlier last week, Parnasse teased a possible signing with the premier promotion after having previously rejected a suggestion from them.<\/p>\n

Not long after, it was announced in the course of the UFC Abu Dhabi broadcast that Hooker could be the one to welcome the Frenchman to the Octagon, with them set to headline UFC Paris in September.<\/p>\n

Despite having fought a Frenchman in BSD last trip, Hooker has revealed this time around, he’s receiving death threats from diehard Parnasse fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cF\u2014 from what I\u2019m getting, there\u2019s a variety of death threats, the death threats have been outrageous,\u201d Hooker told Submission Radio.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t get it once I fought BSD. French people speaking French and telling me I\u2019m \u2018gonna die\u2019 and telling me they\u2019re \u2018gonna kill me\u2019 and s\u2014. Yeah, the death threats have been outrageous.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel possibly because BSD is such a respectful guy that the individuals who follow him aren\u2019t complete f\u2014\u2014 c\u2014- but whoever this c\u2014- fans are, they\u2019re outrageous. It\u2019s gonna feel pretty sweet shutting this kids lights out,\u201d Hooker continued.<\/p>\n

Hooker is now at some extent in his profession where he likely needs a win on enemy territory to save lots of his UFC profession.<\/p>\n

At 36 years old and potentially suffering three losses in a row, Hooker understands the calls for him to retire, but he’s hoping to return to form by handing Parnasse his first loss since 2023.<\/p>\n
