Meta Platforms Inc. today <\/span>announced<\/span><\/a> plans to construct a man-made intelligence data center campus in El Paso, Texas.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project is a collaboration with BlackRock Inc., the world\u2019s largest asset manager. The 2 firms plan to take a position $14 billion within the campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meta and BlackRock expect to finalize their three way partnership agreement in the approaching days. Upon signing, the Facebook parent will contribute $2.3 billion price of physical assets including on-site facilities which are currently under construction. BlackRock, in turn, will invest $4.9 billion. The asset management also intends to make a $1 billion payment to Meta.<\/span><\/p>\n
