Greater than 60 lives have been lost. Lakhs of individuals have been displaced. Entire families have lost their homes, their land, their livestock… and for some, even the people they love. It happens yearly and it still catches us off guard.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress further revealed that she could be using her platform to share details about organizations involved in relief work on the bottom and encouraged people to contribute in whatever way they might. The note also added, \u201cAssam needs immediate relief immediately, and it will need support for the long road to recovery.
