LeToya Luckett<\/strong> side-stepped questions during a livestream on Saturday, July 25. The artist was celebrating the twentieth anniversary of her single \u2018Torn,\u2019 and she or he avoided talking about radio stations being warned to not play her music after she left Destiny\u2019s Child<\/strong>.<\/p>\n During an Instagram livestream with former manager Terrance Ross<\/strong>, he brought up the problem of radio stations being threatened for enjoying Luckett\u2019s solo music. Ross didn\u2019t name names, but Luckett was a member of Destiny\u2019s Child before she was allegedly fired by Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>\u2019s dad, Mathew Knowles. <\/strong>In keeping with Billboard<\/a>, Knowles was the group\u2019s manager on the time, and Luckett sued him over wrongful termination.<\/p>\n Ross claimed that radio stations received phone calls saying that in the event that they played \u2018Torn,\u2019 they wouldn\u2019t receive records from \u201cthis group anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t speak on that,\u201d <\/strong>Luckett replied. \u2018I\u2019ll allow you to speak on that.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u201cWhen your record went to radio,\u201d <\/strong>Ross recalled. \u201cThere was a call put in that in the event you play that record, in the event you play that record, you won\u2019t get no more records from this group.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u201cBut you understand what?
