On her recent reality show, Stassi Schroeder<\/strong> got brutally honest about how she thought Vanderpump Rules<\/em> protected the boys over the ladies.<\/p>\n

\u201cI loved Vanderpump Rules however it is also literally what we\u2019re gonna have PTSD about and need to refer to therapists about for the remainder of our life,\u201d Stassi, 38, told Katie Maloney<\/strong> within the series premiere of Freeform and Hulu\u2019s House of Stassi<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Stassi called the Bravo show out, adding, \u201cIt was at all times, \u2018Make the ladies look psychotic, make the ladies appear to be they’ve issues. They covered for the boys, they covered for the boys.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a confessional Stassi elaborated on her \u201cmixed feelings\u201d for the show that made her a household name.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhile some things never change, the forged of Vanderpump Rules is used to a shake-up \u2026 and a touch-up. Vanderpump Rules was introduced to Bravo viewers during a special episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in January 2013. Season 1 starred Lisa Vanderpump, Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so appreciative of it, and it\u2019s given me so many opportunities. However it normalized a lot darkness,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt rewarded a lot darkness until it didn\u2019t. After which coming back to reality TV, I\u2019m like, \u2018Are you being a dumb bitch?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Stassi continued: \u201cI\u2019m frightened of reality TV however it\u2019s all I do know. I like it but I\u2019m also traumatized by it. But I can\u2019t steer clear of it. But I used to be not gonna let Vanderpump Rules be my legacy. I needed to make this occur. I needed to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stassi made her reality TV debut as a contestant on season 8 of The Amazing Race<\/em>. She also starred on the short-lived show Queen Bees,<\/em> which aired two years before Stassi took a job as a waitress at Vanderpump\u2019s SUR restaurant.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take long for Stassi to change into the fan favorite on Vanderpump Rules<\/em> after it premiered in 2013. While documenting her life for the hit Bravo series, Stassi began to expand her empire by releasing her first book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook<\/em>, in 2019.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhen viewers were introduced to staff at Lisa Vanderpump\u2018s restaurant during Vanderpump Rules\u2018 2013 premiere, it was clear everyone was intertwined in each other\u2019s love lives. From Stassi Schroeder\u2018s rocky relationship with Jax Taylor, which took a turn when he connected along with her best friend Kristen Doute, to Peter Madrigal\u2019s casual connections to several [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The next 12 months, nonetheless, Stassi was fired from Vanderpump Rules<\/em> alongside Kristin Doute<\/strong> at the tip of season 8 following controversy with their former costar Faith Stowers. She has since authored a second book, Off With My Head<\/em>, and shifted her focus to her podcast.<\/p>\n
