Robert Garcia has one opponent in mind for Vergil Ortiz Jr. this November: unified junior middleweight champion Jaron \u201cBoots\u201d Ennis. After two unsuccessful attempts to make the matchup, Garcia wants either side to finally get a deal done.<\/p>\n

If negotiations collapse again, Garcia already knows who should come next. He named former world champion Tim Tszyu because the leading option after Tszyu\u2019s unanimous decision victory over Errol Spence Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re pushing for the Boots fight because that\u2019s the largest fight on the market of that division,\u201d Garcia said to Fight Hub TV. \u201cThat\u2019s the fight that we would like because I believe we already owe it to ourselves and to the world. It\u2019s already been twice where things go backwards and forwards after which the fight doesn\u2019t occur. That\u2019s the fight Golden Boy goes to push for. But when not, Vergil versus Tim could be great. I wouldn\u2019t mind. I’d love that fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tszyu has already stated that he intends to stay at middleweight. Garcia said Ortiz would haven’t any issue meeting him there.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe it will should be at 160, right? Because I believe Tim already said he\u2019s staying at 160,\u201d Garcia said. \u201cWell, even 160 wouldn\u2019t be a nasty idea. I wouldn\u2019t mind. Tim is an excellent name, great fighter. Just had an excellent win.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Garcia also dismissed the concept of giving Ortiz a tune-up after nearly a 12 months out of the ring. He argued that many champions compete just once annually and said Ortiz should return against the strongest opponent available reasonably than take a better task.<\/p>\n
