Jake Paul has claimed that he’ll fight Nate Diaz in his MMA debut next 12 months after merging his promotion with PFL.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday, MVP MMA announced that they might be merging with PFL to launch a serious attack on the game starting next 12 months. Amongst the numerous pieces of knowledge that Paul announced alongside John Martin and Nakisa Bidarian was the news that he will likely be fighting in 2027.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the primary time that he has promised such a thing \u2013 he told fans in 2023 that as a part of a special cope with PFL he can be stepping within the Smart Cage. But this time around he has an opponent with whom there’s years of history including a ten-round boxing bout.<\/p>\n

Jake Paul claims he’ll fight Nate Diaz in MMA next 12 months<\/h2>\n

In the summertime of 2023, Nate Diaz made the move into boxing to face Jake Paul in a large crossover fight. The social media star dropped his rival but was unable to get the finish and laboured to a choice victory over ten rounds.<\/p>\n

They’ve been in talks ever since about potentially rematching within the cage, however it has never managed to return together. Now, Paul seems desperate to finally make his debut and tackle some of the popular fighters in history.<\/p>\n

During a lengthy announcement video Paul snuck in that \u201cI\u2019ve been talking about MMA and doing it for a very long time. But it surely\u2019s official now with this latest partnership that I’m going to get into the cage.\u201d<\/p>\n

He proceeded to specifically name Nate Diaz, telling his old rival: \u201cStop ducking, we want to make this occur for sports. To vary the world, to vary history and the landscape of combat sports perpetually.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul did also confirm that he’s remaining in boxing, telling fans that he will likely be back within the ring \u2018as soon as possible\u2019. There are currently negotiations with multiple opponents ongoing so he’ll box first after which move on to a fight with Diaz.<\/p>\n
