Aiemann and Firas Zahabi weren’t blissful during a recent regional event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Loads of UFC stars have been caught up in altercations and controversies at events away from their promotion prior to now.<\/p>\n

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland stormed the cage and punched a fighter who beat his teammate at Tuff-N-Uff 145 13 months ago. Eight years earlier at Bellator 187, Conor McGregor rushed to confront referee Marc Goddard after his training partner\u2019s buzzer-beating knockout.<\/p>\n

On Friday night, it was the turn of UFC bantamweight contender Zahabi and his brother.<\/p>\n

UFC star Aiemann Zahabi and coach Firas Zahabi storm the cage at regional MMA event<\/h2>\n

On an evening that saw Usman Nurmagomedov knock out Archie Colgan and Dakota Ditcheva have her hand raised at PFL Recent York, motion was also happening in \u2018The Great White North\u2019.<\/p>\n

Samourai MMA 20 took place on the Casino De Montreal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event was headlined by undefeated fighters Camillo Avellan and Martin Leon.<\/p>\n

Amongst those on the undercard was Leo Bonin. He shared the cage with Harda Karim, who trains under Georges St-Pierre\u2019s legendary coach Firas Zahabi.<\/p>\n

Bonin submitted the Tristar Gym prospect with a rear-naked choke in the ultimate minute of the three-round bout, but that was not where the fighting stopped.<\/p>\n

Coach Zahabi stormed the cage and confronted Bonin, going brow to brow with the victorious fighter before staff separated the pair.<\/p>\n

Commentating on the event was Firas\u2019 brother, Aiemann. The UFC bantamweight contender left his cageside seat to enter the cage and attempted to start out his own altercation with Bonin.<\/p>\n

While security worked to maintain Bonin and the Zahabis separated, a member of the fighter\u2019s team appeared to throw a punch or slap at one other cornerman.<\/p>\n

In a post on social media after the win, Bonin suggested his pre-fight trash talk had sparked the engagement. He also claimed that Firas said, \u201cI\u2019ll meet you and your dad within the parking zone,\u201d throughout the confrontation.<\/p>\n

Aiemann was knocked out by Sean O\u2019Malley on the UFC Freedom 250 card in his last fight. That result ended his seven-fight winning streak and surge toward a possible title shot at 135 kilos.<\/p>\n

It stays to be seen whether the commission that oversaw Friday\u2019s Samourai MMA event shall be taking any disciplinary motion for the near-brawl.<\/p>\n
