Nicole Kidman <\/b>had a heart-to-heart with mother Janelle Ann Kidman<\/b> about allowing the actress\u2019 teenage daughter Sunday Rose to pursue a modeling profession ahead of the matriarch\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a mother, I\u2019m just, like, \u2018OK.\u2019 My mother let me do my passion that I wanted once I was 14,\u201d Nicole, 59, told Entertainment Tonight <\/i><\/span><\/a>in an interview published Friday, July 31, discussing Sunday, 18, recently slaying multiple couture catwalks<\/span> and fashion campaigns. \u201cActually, before my mumma passed, she was there and I said, \u2018Oh, should I let her? She desires to model.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicole revealed that her mom simply replied, \u201cWell, you probably did it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI went, \u2018OK,\u2019\u201d the Babygirl <\/i>star continued. \u201cThat was kind of my mumma\u2019s parting gift to Sunny was [that] she encouraged me to let her give you the option to follow her bliss and follow her passion and what she wanted. That\u2019s exactly what she said, \u2018You, sort of, need to let her because I allow you to.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicole announced in September 2024<\/span> that her mother had died.<\/p>\n
