Coming to the film, Chhaava is predicated on a novel by the identical name and stars Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangazeb together with Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, and others playing key roles. The film released in cinemas on February 14.
