On Wednesday, Kanye caused a stir on X when he retracted his initial statement about being a Nazi.
The “Jesus Walks” rapper posted, “After further reflection I’ve come to the belief that I’m not a Nazi.”
Kanye’s post sees him make an entire turnaround from his remarks earlier this month through which he caused widespread outrage together with his praise for Adolf Hitler.
The rapper was heavily criticized after making several antisemitic, homophobic, and hate-filled posts on X.
A few of his controversial posts included him writing, “I like Hitler, now what b-tches,” after which he wrote, “I’m a Nazi.”
He also requested his followers to call him “Yadolf Yitler” and praised the late dictator further, writing, “Hitler was sooooo fresh.”
