Cooper Kupp and his wife Anna Marie are celebrating the NFL star’s move to the Seattle Seahawks after the athlete was dropped by the Los Angeles Rams.

The wide receiver, 31, shared the news via a joint Instagram post along with his wife on Friday, March 14.

“Washington back across my chest. Let’s go!!!!!” Cooper wrote alongside a picture of himself within the Seahawks football uniform.

Behind him within the image were the words “Coming home.” The couple also attached the song “Coming Home” by Skylar Grey to emphasise Kupp’s homecoming.

Cooper grew up southeast of Seattle in Yakima, Washington. He later attended college at Eastern Washington and was eventually drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 2017.

In support of her husband’s profession move, Anne Marie also shared the post via her Instagram Story.

Fans were quick to react to the announcement, with Cooper’s Instagram followers flocking to the comments section to congratulate the football player and add their two cents.

“Congratulations, Cooooop! Now I actually have to cheer for a division rival! Your Ramily will at all times love you! Seahawks fans, you’re SO lucky to have him! 💙💛💙💛,” wrote one. One other added, “Will likely be a fan wherever you go. 🤘🏽 Rams will miss you, big mistake letting you go.”

One more follower added, “Congrats coop. Feel just like the song is conveying the way you truly feel. LA will at all times love you man 💙💛🐏”

In line with ESPN, Cooper signed on the dotted line for a three-year, $45 million contract with the Seahawks.

Earlier this week, Anna Marie spoke out after Cooper’s release from his previous team, the Rams.

“Wherever we go, wherever we land, goes to be so f—ing lucky to have you ever of their constructing,” Anna Marie wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, March 12. “You may have the flexibility to show the tides of any organization you step into.”

Anna Marie’s post included an motion shot of Cooper on the sector for the Rams alongside a news alert of the team’s decision to let go of the wide receiver for next season.

Despite the setback, Anna Marie about how Cooper is capable of encourage those around him.
