Jean Silva says demons don’t possess him, as Bryce Mitchell suggested.
Silva (15-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC), a rising featherweight star, caught wind of his UFC 314 opponent’s comments in a video posted to social media Monday. Mitchell (17-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) stated demons control Silva, which he plans to exorcise once they meet within the cage at Kaseya Center in Miami on Aprilundefined 12.
Mitchell also said demons have been haunting his dreams ever for the reason that UFC 314 press conference, testing his ability to take care of anger and lust. It was at that presser where Silva taunted Mitchell with a globe and commenced “f*ck Bryce Mitchell” chants.
Monday evening, Silva offered a brief rebuttal to Mitchell’s comments, stating his scheduled opponent is solely “afraid” of their fight.
“Bryce, two things, these aren’t demons, it’s just you being afraid to face me and second in regards to the beautiful women you may have a hormone called testosterone and you most likely have problems with it,” Silva wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Just be ready for April twelfth, because I shall be.”
