Ben Affleck Praised Jennifer Lopez On The Red Carpet Of ‘The Accountant 2’
On the premiere of his film “The Accountant 2,” Ben Affleck spoke warmly about his ex, Jennifer Lopez, confirming they continue to be on good terms and that she continues to have a detailed, ongoing relationship together with his children.
“Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,” said the actor, who attended the event with all five children, per Entertainment Tonight.
He co-parents three kids, Samuel, 13, Seraphina, 16, and Violet, 19, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has 17-year-old twins, Emme and Max, along with her former husband, Marc Anthony.
Through the conversation, Affleck also revealed that he felt the identical way about Lopez’s kids and went on to heap more praise on the “Shotgun Wedding” star, whom he split from last 12 months.

He added, “I really like her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously vital, tremendous person of quite a lot of integrity who I am keen on and am grateful to.”

The Actor Broke His Silence About His Divorce From Jennifer Lopez
In a recent cover story with GQ Magazine, Affleck also noted that much of the speculation surrounding his divorce from the “Maid in Manhattan” actress was false.
“There’s an inclination to take a look at breakups and need to discover root causes or something. But truthfully … the reality is rather more quotidian than probably people would consider or could be interesting,” the “Argo” star noted.
He added, “There isn’t any scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue. The reality is, whenever you consult with any individual, ‘Hey, what happened?’ Well, there is no such thing as a, ‘That is what happened.'”
One in all the rumors surrounding their breakup was that Affleck and Lopez’s clashing personalities led to tension. Within the interview, Affleck acknowledged their differences but insisted that those contrasting traits had little to do with their split.

“My temperament is to be slightly bit more reserved and personal than hers. As happens in relationships, you do not at all times have the identical attitude towards this stuff,” Affleck told the publication.
The actor then clarified, “I believe it is vital to say that wasn’t the reason behind some major fracture.”

Jennifer Lopez Revealed Their Divorce Was ‘Hard’
Unlike Affleck’s revelation, which seemed more focused on clarifying rumors about his split from the “Unstoppable” star, Lopez selected to speak concerning the emotional toll of the divorce when she broke her silence.
She told Interview Magazine that the breakup, which officially happened last August, was “f–ing hard.”
“It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate,” the “Cannot Get Enough” singer told the publication about being single.
She added, “But whenever you sit in those feelings and go, ‘These items usually are not going to kill me, it’s like actually, I’m able to joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I can not be in search of happiness in other people. I actually have to have happiness inside myself.”
Elsewhere within the conversation, the actress shared that she doesn’t regret ending her marriage and that it was “exactly what she needed.”

Ben Affleck Recently Admitted That He Is Not Great At ‘Flirting’
Now a single man, Affleck hasn’t revealed whether he’s able to begin dating again or already has someone.
Within the meantime, he has shared that he is not great at flirting, just like his character, Christian Wolff in “The Accountant 2,” who also struggles with wooing women.
“Here’s a man who’s attempting to work out — he desires to have a relationship with a lady, he’s attempting to work out the way to try this, like, the way to put yourself on the market,” said Affleck, per Page Six.
“He isn’t comfortable extending himself,” the actor added concerning the character. “He doesn’t really know the way to flirt exactly…. like so lots of us.”
The Former Lovers Are ‘Working Their Hearts Out’ To Avoid The Pain Of Their Separation
A source who spoke to the Each day Mail revealed that while Affleck and Lopez are saddened by the top of their marriage, they appear to be channeling their energy into their careers quite than dwelling on heartbreak.
“They’re each sad that the wedding didn’t work out,” the source said. “As a substitute of crying over it, nevertheless, they’re working their hearts out. They love being busy with solid projects.”
