Mike Tyson has landed a brand new role outside of the boxing ring.
The previous heavyweight boxing champion is trading uppercuts for executives, as he has been appointed the CEO of a Las Vegas-based cannabis company.

The announcement comes just five months after the 58-year-old made his controversial return to the square circle, losing to Jake Paul in front of 70,000 Texas fans and thousands and thousands around the globe on Netflix.
He got the brand new job on Thursday as lifestyle organisation Carma HoldCo, the parent company behind cannabis brands like Tyson 2.0 and Ric Flair Drip, named Tyson, who co-founded the corporate, as their CEO.
Tyson’s latest role signals a shift in the corporate’s ‘strategic leadership’, and is ‘a deeply personal progression for Tyson himself,’ in response to its announcement.
“Carma HoldCo was built on the idea that powerful stories and much more powerful products can change how people connect with wellness, entertainment, and culture,” Tyson, who boasts a 50-7 pro record, said.
“This isn’t only a title—it’s a responsibility I take seriously. I’ve desired to be more involved for a very long time, and now’s the appropriate time to take that step.
“I’m fully committed to creating sure all the pieces we create stays true to who we’re while growing in latest and exciting ways.”
Carma HoldCo later added that his appointment adds a strengthened concentrate on ‘brand authenticity, creativity, and meaningful consumer experiences.’
Tyson’s latest role comes as his last opponent, Paul, announced who he can be fighting next.
The 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer will step within the ring with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, the son of boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez, in his next fight.
