Marcus Rashford is aware that he won’t play for Manchester United again while Ruben Amorim continues to be the manager, based on reports.

Speaking last week about potentially signing Rashford on a everlasting deal, Emery said: ‘It’s difficult to plan now.

‘He’s feeling comfortable and higher. If he’s completely satisfied, we’re completely satisfied.

United, meanwhile, are already available in the market to sign a substitute for Rashford and have intensified their efforts to secure a fast deal for Wolves’ talisman Matheus Cunha.

United are also seeking to sign Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap alongside Cunha.
