Even for those who’ve been living under a rock, chances are high you already know the Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5, 2025. Preorders were initially imagined to go live within the U.S. on April 9, but uncertainty over the Trump Administration’s tariffs forced Nintendo to delay. Now, preorders within the U.S. are officially set for April 24, but time zones will matter. Here’s a breakdown of where and when you’ll be able to preorder the Nintendo Switch 2 from major retailers. Don’t forget—you can even register your interest on the My Nintendo Store starting May 8 for a probability to preorder.

Best Buy

Best Buy Switch 2 preorders are going survive April 23 at 9:00 PM Pacific or April 24 at 12:00 AM Eastern. The retailer is offering quite a few Switch 2 packages that bundle accessories and games.

GameStop

GameStop Switch 2 preorders are going survive April 24 at 8:00 AM Pacific (11:00 AM Eastern) online. Preorders can even be available in store when stores open.

Goal

Goal Switch 2 preorders are going survive April 23 at 9:00 PM Pacific or April 24 at 12:00 AM Eastern.

Walmart
