Alien: Rogue Incursion is a brand new original single-player VR game set between the primary two Alien movies by Survios/twentieth Century Games. Originally announced as an untitled project in development in 2022, and made using Unreal Engine, Alien: Rogue Incursion will launch holiday 2024 for PC VR (via Steam), Ps VR2, and MetaQuest 3. For those skeptical about one other Alien game given the franchise’s somewhat ups and downs, Survios has said that the sport is “Designed by Alien fans for Alien fans,” and per its press release, “embraces all our favourite elements from 45 years of Alien.”
Survios formally announced the brand new game on “Alien Day” Friday, April 26, to rejoice the franchise’s forty fifth anniversary.
Per Press Release:
“Our team at Survios are huge fans of Alien and have been constructing Alien: Rogue Incursion for a very long time, honing our ability to pair probably the most technically advanced, immersive, and fascinating VR experiences with best-in-class franchises,” said TQ Jefferson, Chief Product Officer at Survios. “This fully original story embraces all our favourite elements from 45 years of Alien, from kinetic motion and heart-pounding exploration to our terrifyingly resourceful Xenomorphs that can truly make your skin crawl. We are able to’t wait for fans to get their hands on it this holiday season.”
Description (per official site):
