Khamzat Chimaev grapples with Brendan Allen during UFC 328 training camp

Sean Strickland is bound to be working with some wrestling specialists to organize himself for his upcoming clash with Khamzat Chimaev.

In latest footage from the undefeated champion’s preparations, his grappling was on full display, as he controlled the top-five ranked middleweight Brendan Allen on the bottom.

Allen, who defeated Reinier de Ridder last trip, was stopped by Strickland back in 2020 in a tense matchup that took place on the Apex in Las Vegas.

The video posted by Bear Degidio on Instagram showed the primary day that Allen has spent as a component of the team at Santos Studio.

Allen is currently set to face Edman Shahbazyan in a matchup that has left many scratching their heads resulting from the gap between them within the rankings.

Dricus du Plessis, who said his loss to Khamzat Chimaev wasn’t a fight, is the name that many recommend as a logical step for Allen before this matchup was announced.

‘Stillknocks’ hasn’t fought since he lost the middleweight title in one-sided fashion last August.
