Eddie Hearn has convinced himself that he desires to box Dana White despite the potential consequences.

Hearn sent a warning to White when showing off videos of him putting some work in on the gym following talks of the 2 promoters meeting within the ring.

While Misfits Boxing made a suggestion of $10 million purses to try to make it occur, there’s one man that may undoubtedly have the option to top that.

With each men confirming that Turki Alalshikh has expressed some interest within the fight, the Matchroom chairman is serious about stepping through the ropes.

Who wins in a fight? Dana White or Eddie Hearn

Dana White has claimed to be open to a boxing match with Eddie Hearn: Who do you think that would win in the event that they met within the ring?

Eddie Hearn accepts Dana White’s callout and says they’ll make $30 million each in boxing clash

Dana White has been dismissive of the potential of him facing Eddie Hearn in a boxing match for several reasons.

The UFC president recently said that while Turki Alalshikh has tried to make it occur, he’s recurrently referred to his fellow promoter as a “p—-” and that they’d be the primary fight of the night resulting from their skill levels.

Hearn recently responded to this by saying that they’d each earn $30 million for this fight and that the recent talks have began to get him excited concerning the prospect of it actually happening.

“We might make 30 million each,” he said via The Ariel Helwani Show. “So, I’m throughout it. So, stick me in, put my name down, find me a pair of shorts and I’ll travel. He called me out, I accept.”

Hearn also admitted that he was barely impressed by the footage he’s seen of White, but his growing excitement and the paycheck attached has got him willing to “see who the p—- is.”

“I’m very limited but I’ll have a right go, I’ll let you know. I’ll get myself in good condition and I’m a giant lump and I believe I’ll knock him out,” he continued. “But in addition, if I get knocked out and I make $30 million, it’s not the saddest day on the planet and other people would find it quite amusing.”

One factor working against Hearn is that this isn’t the primary time in recent times someone has tried to get White to compete in a boxing match and failed.

Dana White recalls Tito Ortiz attempting to make a boxing match occur in 2024

During his press conference on Saturday, Dana White was asked about former UFC fighter Tito Ortiz attempting to put together a boxing match between them across the time that Jake Paul fought Mike Tyson.

The UFC president couldn’t remember the precise details but he did vaguely remember Lorenzo Fertitta (UFC CEO from 2001 to 2016) mentioning this to him.

“You already know what, I believe Lorenzo did say something like that,” he said. “I’m 50 f—— six years old. I’m gonna be 57 in July. I fight to get off the bed each day, okay.”

White and Ortiz previously got right into a fight on a plane following their long-standing rivalry.
