In an interview with V Magazine, Ridley joked that she became “besties” with Driver while filming the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy. In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, “The Last Jedi” director Rian Johnson revealed that Driver “went the space” for Ridley by flying all the best way out to Ireland simply to be off-camera for his or her Force connection scenes.
