Real American Freestyle Wrestling have their eyes set on one other big name UFC signing.
This past weekend, Real American Freestyle Wrestling hosted their eighth event which was scheduled to be headlined by Henry Cejudo and Merab Dvalishvili.
Despite that, Cejudo withdrew from the event just hours before their scheduled match as a consequence of an ongoing injury.
With that, Arman Tsarukyan’s match against Urijah Faber was upgraded to the predominant event and before that took place, the promotion announced the large signing of Khamzat Chimaev.

Over the previous couple of weeks the promotion has announced several huge signings, from Chimaev to latest UFC heavyweight Gable Steveson, who will probably be making his debut on RAF09 on May 30.
And with RAF becoming a well-liked promotion for UFC fighters to remain lively in, owner Izzy Martinez is eyeing the potential signing of soaring UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit.
“You realize, Josh Hokit’s manager is identical manager for Zahid Valencia so we’ve been talking to him about Hokit for some time,” Martinez said on the post-fight press conference.
“He’s also down at Greg Jackson’s gym where I used to be an element of for such a protracted time. You realize, I believe they’ve got an enormous plan for him within the UFC but we even have big plans for him.
“So we’re super excited to get on the horn with him after this weekend and he’s not the just one, but Hokit is a special one and we’re excited to get him within the league also,” he continued.
