4 persons are in a critical condition after two trains collided head-on in Demark.
Not less than 17 persons are injured after the 2 local trains crashed 25 miles (40km) north of Copenhagen.
Pictures from the scene show two yellow and gray trains smashed up on the a track the towns of Hillerod and Kagerup.
The collision prompted an enormous emergency response and has been called a significant incident by police.
A spokesperson for the rescue services said: ‘There are injuries among the many passengers. Everyone seems to be out of the trains, so nobody is trapped… Large resources have been dispatched to the scene.’

The injured have been transported away from the scene in ambulances and hospitals, the fireplace department said.
