AJ Lee is probably not the subsequent woman to carry the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, but she knows who she desires to win the gold.
At WWE WrestleMania 42 (Night One), Lee lost the Women’s Intercontinental Title to Becky Lynch, ending her current run with the promotion.
On Twitter, Roxanne Perez, whose profession was inspired by Lee, suggested that she must have been the one facing AJ for the gold at WrestleMania.
While it’s unclear if that match will occur, Lee responded, hoping that Roxanne will avenge her and take the title from Lynch.
Lee returned to WWE in September 2025 after over a decade away as a part of her husband CM Punk’s program with Lynch and her husband Seth Rollins.
Perez has yet to carry singles gold on WWE’s foremost roster but is a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and two-time WWE NXT Women’s Champion.
