Kairi Sane was amongst several WWE talents released on Friday, despite being often featured on television. She most recently competed on WWE RAW, teaming with Asuka in a match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.
Following the news of her departure, IYO SKY took to social media to react to Sane’s exit. She wrote,
“I understand that everybody, as an athlete, eventually faces a turning point when excited about their life and profession, but I feel so heartbroken that it got here at such an unexpected time 💔 Kairi was truly loved by all her colleagues, not only as a performer but as an individual.
“She was kinder than anyone, just a little airheaded within the most lovable way, funny, charming, and my proud best friend. A comrade-in-arms who faced countless hardships in America, shed so many tears, and grew along with me. It’s so hard to simply accept that Kairi won’t be within the passenger seat of the rental automobile anymore, but… I’m absolutely certain that along with her innate talent and the incredible knowledge and experience she’s gained in WWE, Kairi’s recent journey will probably be something truly amazing.
“From the underside of my heart, I wish for my beloved Kairi’s success and happiness.
I like you a lot, Kairi. We’ll be best friends endlessly and at all times!”
