Brandon Armstrong Injured, Exits Dancing With the Stars Tour

Dancing With the Stars pro Brandon Armstrong has sustained a tour-ending injury.

“OK, y’all: No easy method to say this and, truthfully, I’m super bummed but you possibly can tell I’m hurt,” Armstrong, 31, said in a Saturday, April 25, social media video featuring the dancer wearing a sling across one arm. “I’ve been coping with just a little problem in my elbow for awhile after which just a few shows ago I used to be doing just a little thing and it just went south.”

He continued, “Long story short, I actually have a broken elbow. Might be rather a lot worse, could obviously be rather a lot higher. I spoke with the doctor and I’ve been counseled from that doctor and the team on tour that I want to go home and have a look at it and check out to figure it out, see what the subsequent steps are taken so I can get healthy again.”

Armstrong and a number of other of his fellow DWTS pros launched into a brand new live tour in the beginning of this yr.

Brandon Armstrong raised eyebrows when he had a tattoo consultation to commemorate Lauren Jauregui’s Dancing With the Stars elimination — but did he actually undergo with it? “Absolutely not, but you realize what I did get out of that? Some views,” Armstrong, 31, said on the Saturday, November 1, episode of Joe Vulpis’ eponymous […]

“I remember after I was first on the show [and] I didn’t get the chance to go on tour. I saw my friends going out and performing live, but really getting to fulfill [the fans] every night,” Armstrong said, referring to his previous tenure within the troupe. “I wanted that so bad. I desired to have the ability to fulfill you guys and interact with you, so me not having the ability to finish this tour, especially once we’re so close, it’s so hard for me to simply accept that.”

Armstrong went on to say that he would “miss” the remaining fan meet-and-greets in his tour absence.

“I feel that’s the toughest thing for me, but the excellent news is me going home just a little bit early goes to permit me to get healthy sooner,” the dancer stated. “[At] the tip of the summer, I cannot wait to return out and see you guys at Con. I can’t wait to return on the market, dance for you guys.”
