Francis Ngannou has warned Alex Pereira that Ciryl Gane is a nasty matchup for him.

This coming June 14, Alex Pereira makes his anticipated move as much as heavyweight when he takes on Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title within the UFC White House co-main event.

‘Poatan’ has been showing his weight transformation over the past few months which has fans extremely excited to see the Brazilian once more go for history on the one-of-a-kind event.

And although Pereira is being backed by Jon Jones’ legendary coach, the vast majority of the MMA world is seemingly backing the Frenchman to develop into the interim champion again.

Francis Ngannou backing Ciryl Gane against Pereira

After training with ‘Bon Gamin’ for his title fight, Pereira’s former opponent Artem Vakhitov is now leaning 70/30 in Gane’s favour.

Another person who’s heavily backing the 36-year-old to win on June 14 is Francis Ngannou, who fought and beat Gane back in 2022.

‘The Predator’ somewhat shocked the MMA world when he got here out and ended up dominating Gane along with his wrestling, which turned out to be the proper blueprint to beating the French kickboxer.

And having experienced Gane’s slick movement and fast movement firsthand, Ngannou has warned Pereira concerning the matchup, stating that it isn’t a superb heavyweight matchup for him.

“I don’t know, I don’t know (what Pereira can do to beat Gane,” Ngannou told Helen Yee.

“I feel Ciryl has more tools here, and Alex Pereira has his own style, Ciryl Gane has his own style. It’s a really, for me, and I could also be improper, nevertheless it’s not a superb matchup for Alex Pereira by way of style.

“Mainly, if he’s moving as much as the division and has to face a heavyweight that’s even lighter on the feet than a light-weight heavyweight, that’s a tricky challenge. Yeah, (I favour Ciryl Gane).”

Alex Pereira revealed because the UFC 6 cover star

For years now, UFC fans have been calling for a brand new iteration of the video game and when Dana White gave an update on the sport earlier this month, fans grew in excitement.

Fans assumed that Ilia Topuria could be chosen as the duvet star as he’s arguably the largest current star in the game, but that isn’t the case.

It was announced earlier this week that Pereira might be the brand new cover star, with Max Holloway being the duvet star of the Ultimate Edition of the sport.
