When asked for an update on Alvarez, Giuliano Simeone and Sorloth, Diego Simeone said: ‘Well, knowing them, they’ll definitely be there on Tuesday,

‘I don’t think there will likely be anyone that is not going to be playing on Tuesday.

‘I suppose they is likely to be feeling some physical discomfort now. Giuliano from a knock, Julian from the autumn he had in the midst of the pitch and Sorloth with a hamstring strain, but I actually have little doubt they’ll be there.’

Atletico are as a result of play Valencia in La Liga on Saturday before the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Arsenal next Tuesday.
