Actor-model Sambhavna Seth joyfully announced her pregnancy with a heartfelt Instagram post. After enduring seven painful IVF procedures and experiencing a miscarriage, Sambhavna and her husband, actor-writer Aviinash Dwivedhii, selected surrogacy to meet their dream of becoming parents. Known for her hit songs and her stint on Bigg Boss 3, Sambhavna opened up about her difficult journey in 2024.

Sharing the wonderful news, Sambhavna wrote: “We Are PREGNANT. Our most beautiful story is now in production, through love, hope, and SURROGACY. Countdown Begins.” Gauahar Khan expressed her happiness within the comments: “That is the happiest news. God bless you with safety and happiness at every step of this journey. Ameen.”
Sambhavna’s Miscarriage, Failed IVF
Before her pregnancy announcement, Sambhavna and Avinash had planned a pregnancy photoshoot, but a miscarriage dashed their hopes. She reflected, “I’ve undergone miscarriages after which reached here. I’ve had miscarriages; I’ve attempted 7 IVFs over all these years. Even before we got married, I had my eggs frozen. It cost me around Rs 1.5 lakh. I used to be foresighted, so I had planned ahead. But you already know, Bhagwan ki marzi ke aage kuch nahi chalta. It was a healthy extraction,” she shared.
She detailed the IVF process: “The method was very painful, and I placed on quite a lot of weight. It goes on for 8-10 days, and you might have to take injections in your stomach or thighs. Then the ultimate injection is given 24 hours before extracting the eggs. That’s the entire process, and it is extremely painful. Afterwards, the doctors advise you to rest for 10 days, and attributable to hormonal injections, you gain weight. The body goes through quite a lot of trauma—your mental state also gets disturbed. But slowly, your body comes back to its original self if you desire to, or nonetheless you are attempting to get back in shape,” she explained.
Sambhavna also shared that she all the time desired to have a baby, and her husband never pressured her to undergo these painful treatments. “I could change into hopeful after every setback because I didn’t have any pressure from my husband,” she said in her interview.
On the work front, Sambhavna’s last appearance was within the 2025 film Mandala Murders, headlined by Vaani Kapoor.
