Janel Parrish and Chris Long have officially filed for divorce as she continues to tease her romance with Dancing With the Stars‘ Sasha Farber.
TMZ reported on Wednesday, April 29, that Parrish, 37, and Long, 41, filed a joint petition asking the court for a divorce. The legal documents noted that Parrish and Long agree on spousal support, division of property, legal fees and the date of separation.
News broke earlier this month that the pair had called it quits.
“Thanks all for the incredibly kind and supportive messages, they’ve truly meant the world,” Parrish wrote via Instagram on April 10. “After 10 beautiful years together, including seven years of marriage, Chris and I made the difficult decision to finish our marriage.”
She continued: “There remains to be a lot love and respect between us, and I’m deeply grateful for every thing we built together. This chapter of my life, and Chris, will at all times mean a lot to me. Thanks all again for the messages of affection and support.”
Us Weekly confirmed on the time that Parrish and Long had been separated for a number of months. They originally began dating in 2016 and got engaged the next 12 months.
“Went to the park for a stroll with Klee and got here back with a fiancé,” she wrote via Instagram in 2017. “I get to marry my best friend and I’m over the moon. I really like you @c_long.”
Ahead of their nuptials, the actress reflected on how she knew Long was right for her.
“He just is my person. My soul knows him,” she exclusively told Us in August 2018. “He’s my best friend in all the world. And irrespective of what, if I’m having the worst day ever, I feel like I even have anyone who understands me. And even when he doesn’t quite understand me at that moment, he tries to. And that feels so nice.”
Parrish’s divorce made headlines as she was spotted spending more time with DWTS pro Farber, 41. The duo have repeatedly shared photos and videos of themselves dancing and getting cozy but haven’t spoken out directly about their relationship.
Parrish previously competed on Dancing With the Stars during season 19 with Val Chmerkovskiy in 2014, ending in third place. Farber, for his part, appeared within the troupe that 12 months.
Farber’s romance with Parrish comes after he was married to DWTS pro Emma Slater from 2018 to 2023. He then moved on together with his DWTS celeb partner Jenn Tran, and the pair were linked from 2024 to 2025.
“I hate dating. However it takes, like, a sec, you bought to satisfy the person. There’s lots that goes into when you wish to find someone special,” Farber said on the “Casual Chaos” podcast in January about DWTS showmances 4 months before sparking dating speculation. “[On the show], you’re just thrown in. ‘Let’s go. Hi, nice to satisfy you. OK, we’re going to rub hips. We’re going to dip. We’re going to do that. I need to get in your face here. You have got to essentially have a look at me.’”
