Mukesh Khanna Opens Up On Marriage At 67
Mukesh Khanna has shared that he stays open to marriage at 67, saying that he still believes deeply within the institution. Moreover, stating he would embrace it if destiny permits. He described marriage as greater than a private alternative, calling it a karmic connection shaped by fate.
Speaking on The Filmy Charcha Podcast, Khanna said, “I imagine in marriage greater than most individuals. People think that if you happen to don’t marry, you don’t imagine in marriage. That’s not true. I imagine within the institution of marriage greater than most individuals. A wife doesn’t just come randomly. She is written in destiny. If it was meant to occur, it will have happened by now.”
The Shaktimaan actor added that the lady meant for him already exists somewhere, and their meeting would only occur when destiny aligns. He further explained his philosophical view on marriage, stating, “In keeping with scriptures, a wife is your prarabdh from a previous life. She comes into your life to correct your karma. Affairs may be many, but a wife is one. Marriage is the union of two souls.”

Mukesh Khanna Criticises Ekta Kapoor

Aapko fikr nahi hai ki aap morals ki aisi-taisi kar rahe ho, ghar ke system ki aisi-taisi kar rahe ho. Aap Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi jaise shows laate ho jismein 6 auratein jhumka-bindi lagakar bolti hain, ‘Dekhti hoon tumhari shaadi kaise hoti hai.’ All women are shown as selfish. Hamare desh mein aisi auratein nahi hain, and it still became so popular.”
